Job Description
Cisnes River Lodge, located in Aysén, Chilean Patagonia, is looking for an experienced professional fly-fishing guide for the 2027 season.
We are looking for a guide with:
Excellent fly-fishing skills, particularly for trout.
Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to anglers of different levels.
A friendly, easy-going and accommodating personality.
Strong professionalism and a genuine passion for fishing and guiding.
Excellent raft-boat handling skills, particularly in fast water, technical passages and challenging river conditions.
Good knowledge of river safety and boat-based trout fishing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Previous professional guiding experience is required; Patagonia experience is a strong advantage.
The position involves guiding international guests for approximately 6 fishing days per week, primarily targeting wild brown and rainbow trout, with a strong emphasis on both wade fishing and raft-based fishing.
Accommodation and meals: Provided
We are looking for someone who is not only an excellent angler, but also an excellent guide and great person to have around guests and colleagues.
